Personal testimony about ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease

Living with IBD without giving up on life

I have not been cured of ulcerative colitis. I have learned to live with it, recognise my limits and not let it stop me from living. The diagnosis itself was uncertain for a while, hesitating between ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease: the line between the two forms of IBD can be thin, and a good part of what I share here applies to both. I share my journey, the difficult periods and what helped me take an active place in my everyday life.
